why do u think his case was expedited..? remember we were all in the december 2010 filers thread...

sorry for using the word expedite, i dont think it fits to what am i trying to ask.. am just wondering coz kaka35's case was completed in NVC and his priority date is NOV2010..

In the list there are other members with their cases completed in NVC with PDs Sept 2010. But none of them got interviews. So I don't think that Case Complete means anything unless priority date is current.

# of applicants per country may be part of the reason for NVC processes to start..

No, it was not. As far as I know, F2A or F2B cases can not be expedited.

Guys, I was looking at the Worldwide Cut-off dates table for F2A. Last year from September to end of December 2010, visa bulletin was current for applicants with PDs 2008 and 2009 .. But do you know anybody with PDs in 2009 got their interviews during this period? If not, what could be the reason?

I864 is not part of the package for I130. After your case approved by USCIS, it will be transferred to NVC. THen they will ask for additional documents including I 864.

For an interview to be scheduled at the consulate, does PD have to be current?

I think interview documents are sent to the consulates during first 2 weeks of the month. I remember reading this in another forum. People should be getting their interview dates starting end of next week. The date of the interview depends on how busy the consulate with K1 and other applications.

if a country with lower demand will have advanced cutoff dates then the countries with higher demand should not have advance movement in cutoff dates...but it happened all over the F2A ...so i am not comfertable with that advance movement when over 300000 ppl is waiting for visa with approved petition...something must be wrong...

You are right, something does not make sense. Lets hope that visa bulletin moves faster with no retrogression from now on.

we have completed cases of 324864 out of which most of the ppl are not given visa having PD before 2010 then how could they advance the cutoff dates to 1st august 2010????? look at the DOS report on 1st NOVEMBER 2009....

I THINK THERE CAN BE THREE POSSIBILITIES...

1. ALL THE 324864 APPLICATIONS WHICH HAVE BEEN APRROVED HAD BEEN GIVEN VISAS....(WHICH I THINK WRONG)

2. DOS HAVE THEIR PERSONAL INTERST FOR MORE FILING IN F2A...MEANS MONEY..

3. MANAGEMENT OF DOS HAVE THEIR FRIENDS OR RELATIVES WAITING FOR VISA SO THEY ARTIFICIALLY MOVED THE CUTOFF DATE AND GAVE THEM VISA AND THEN RETROGATION....

WHAT DO U THINK??? WHICH IS THE RIGHT ANSWER??? OR IS THERE ANY POSSIBILITY ???

There are different number of applicants for each country. It may be possible that the cut-off dates in visa bulletin was moved so that visa became available for countries with less applicants.

I dont understand when there is a per country limit set by rule formed in 1990, How can any country can be given more visa then 7%??? can anybody make me understand???look the DOS report...

it is clearly shown that dominic republic and mexico has been awarded more than 7% visas...can anybody explain me...

I am not sure though where they publish how many applicant there are for each country. If they follow 7% rule, there should cutoff date different for each country I believe.

I am not sure what you mean by approved in 6 months. Average processing times are about 5 months in USCIS.. That is why you received NOA2 for your parent's case in about 4-5 months.

Yes.

I am not sure if your PD should be current to pay AOS processing fee which is 88 dollars by the way. I google it around and it seems that NVC is collecting some of the paperwork to get things ready so that once PD is current, it can be processed faster.

From my search, I also find out that I864 will be filled out and additional processing fee (approx. $400 per applicant) will be paid to NVC. If they need additional paperwork, they will contact you again. Once everything has been approved, and PD becomes current then it is forwarded to Consulate for an interview.

as long as your case is approved by USCIS then, you should wait for NVC to send you an email about you case. first notice should be generating your case#.

Hi guys, I know that after I130 is approved by USCIS, it is sent to NVC. I wonder when we should expect to hear from NVC. Or NVC send the paperwork after PD becomes current.

Any approvals from DEcember filers yet?.. I am still waiting 145 days gone.

Reg. AOS, NVC clearly asks for a recent past year's tax filing data only, why would everyone in here is submitting last THREE years tax returns and tax transcripts.

I am preparing all those documents related to NVC procesing. Also what form of documents NVC needs really-Originals or photocopies of civil documents. I understand all originals will be sent to US Consulate.

Could someone tell em their experience. I called up NVC today and the guy toled me NVC needs originals only or certified copies of civil documents.

My I-130 recently has been approved. I hope you get approvals soon also.
