    How to see the current processing date on CSC

    Not this one. You can only select I-29f on that one. No I-485 that I can see.

    You can go to the USCIS processing times page (link provided above by Adriene H) and check the processing time for your Field Office.

    My field office OKC only says 4 months. I am 6 months in. also my visa was moved to the CSC. When I click that the only thing they show is I485 for employment adjustment which it says they are still working on 07

    Wow so apparently the NVC gave me the wrong case number. When I called the DOS the lady told me my case number was off by 3-4 digits. So I got the real case number now and packet 3 was sent to my girl today.

    Unfortunately we havent been able to update her new address because we had the wrong case number and the consulate said they had no received it ugh. Anyway, she made up her on packet 3 and will send it in along with an address update. Hopefully it gets resolved. :bonk:

    Wow thank you for the detailed info. But now my head is swimming with so much info :wacko:

    I want to change it but I need to make sure my fiance knows how to scan everything in pdf forms first. I will email her today and she will reply tomorrow morning my time. If the NVC has already mailed out the form is it too late to change?

    Also why dont they mention this option at all? Its available but someone who wasnt on websites like visa journey would probably have no clue about it. :bonk:

    Ok I have put in alot of time looking into all this stuff getting ready for the interview and looking at the forms etc. I still have some questions though.

    1. Is it at the NVC when I can choose to do electronic processing? How do I opt in for that? Call them up?

    2. After choosing to opt in for electronic processing how do we go about packet 3? They have the DS230 or whatever that form is called so I assume if you fill that out online you dont need a mailing address label? What about the copy of her biography page on her passport? How can we file that electronically?

    3. If you do online processing how do you provide a signature on any form????

    4. Does the police report need to be done in her hometown? Also I didnt see a form for them to fill out? do they just give you a copy of their report?

    5. I heard once they say packet 3 has been sent it could take 3 weeks to arrive. I heard its ok if you send it back and it gets to the consulate the same day as it gets to her place its fine. Once they say its been sent (eventhough its just sitting in a pile somewhere) is it ok to send in your completed packet 3? also how does this apply to electronic processing? do they email her instead and she has to email them back?

    this electronic processing is confusing me some and i really couldnt find good directions about the filing on the guanzhou website. Sorry for so many questions but I am just trying to iron out the details since my application is at the NVC right now and I want to be done with this as quick as possible. We already have a case number from the NVC btw.

    Suggest you make up a new 'calling pattern' using the telephone.

    So in the cover letter do you provide the new address?

    Ok so I got my NOA2 last week. Based on what I have been reading here, the NVC will send me a letter (including the I-34) saying they received my packet next correct?

    Then (hopefully) soon afterwards they will send the packet to China?

    Then the embassy mails packet 3 to my fiance correct?

    My fiance has changed her address since we mailed in the NOA1. I heard some bad stories about trying to change fiances address with the NVC and for some reason it doesnt get changed. I heard its better to change her address with the consulars office in China. But how will I know I can call the embassy to change her address? I dont want them to get the application and turn around and mail out packet 3 to her without me having a chance to change her address.

    So what I assume I should do then is get the DHL tracking number and when I see its delivered to China, call them up and have my fiances address changed?

    I have a question. I wrote this in my other thread but it may get more views here.

    I messed up when setting up my account on USCIS. I accidentally submitted my info twice and it says if you do that then you wont receive email updates. When my NOA2 came I had to check the website and they never emailed me.

    Now that its going to the NVC how will I know when they are finished or send me something? Will I have to randomly call them? is there something online i can check? Is their system different from the main USCIS page and they will still email me? help!

    thanks guys. I have another question

    When I set up my account on USCIS, I had a problem with it and to make a long story short I ended up submitting my information twice. I know it said if you submit it twice you wont get emails about updates. And sure enough they never emailed me about the NOA2.

    So my question is how will I know when the NVC is done with my application? Is there something that will update that I can check? Or do they work off a different system and will email me anyway? I dont want to have to rely on calling them just to check if its done.
