please i need some information about applying for citizenship. I am due to apply for my citizenship next month but currently, i dont live in the same house with my wife though we are still legally married. she stays in different city here in the states from me. So, my question is , can this affect or stop me from applying for my citizenship even though we are still legally married for 3 years and we only stayed stayed together for just 2 years? And Also, do i need to submit evidence or proof of our relationship like bills etc when applying for my citizenship? Also while filling the forms do i need to state that we live in different address or can i just use only my address or her address.

I am a permanent green card holder and just moved to US last year but i had a child out of wedlock but i didnt include her when i filing for my i-130 form as i married a US citizen but now i want to bring her over to Us.my name was not on her birth certificate because i had problem with her mom and she decided not to include my name on the birth certificate.please now i want to file for her to move here.can somebody give me the guidelines and how to file it and if we need a dna and documents i have to provide to uscis.shes just 7 yrs old and a british.please i need your advise

yes its goodnews the same thing happened to me.I was in AP for 8 months and when they started updating my case within 2 weeks i got a call from the embassy

Hey pls can someone help me.I have been married for 2 yrs and four months and my visa just got approved.in my passport is stamped temporary i-551 stamp valid for one year so I want to find out if I will be given a conditional green card or a permanent green card and what processess involved on getting to america.thanks

My wife is d petitioner so they visited my house and interviwed my neighbours and my younger brother cos I wasn't at home.it took a month and a week for them to call me back at the embassy.

I have been in AP for 7 months and last month the embassy staff visited my home.last week I got a call from the embassy asking me to report to the embassy any time btw monday to thursday with my medicals and police certficate and my international passport.pls I want to know if my visa has been approved?has anybody been told the same?and wats d outcome?

I have been in AP for 6 months and yesterday I had a call from the embassy asking about where I reside because I gave them my family address though I have moved out of my family house but my siblings n parents still stay there.The embassy called me on phone and I told them that I have moved out but actually they were in my family house and they met my brother and asked him many questions about me but where insisting that my new apartment dat I stay with another gal I'm married to and they have also monitored me n sees me with different gals.while my brother refuted it n insisted that I'm only married to one wife.I became so upset wen my brother told me this because I'm only married to my wife and why would they try to lie against me.so pls I'm worried and can smbody advise me n how long before I will be contacted to return to the consulate?

Helo guys I have been on AP since november 2012 at lagos embassy but my case status says Ready but my wife called the DOS but was told we stil in AP and I emailed the embassy and they confirmed we still in AP but my case still Reads Ready on ceac website even after the updates it still says Ready but only the date changes.pls what does this mean?has anybody been in this condition before?pls help out thanks.

Hey ourjoy after u have emailed and called DOS have u gone bck to ceac website and find out if any update and the current status.I have a similiar problem my status was changed from AP to ready on december then I emailed the embassy no reply yet but had an update on the ceac website but still ready then I called the DOS and they said still on AP then I checked bck on ceac website it still shows ready. Has anybody had similiar problem?

So in my case now do I need to email the embassy to notify them about change in my status

this was the same letter we submiited to the usics and it was approved.i didnt coach her on writtin the letter infact i neva saw the letters untill wen my wife sent to it to me prior to my interview.so it was neva writen or coached by me.i showed her other proofs but she ignored to look at it only stating that the letter was not written by an american.

she said the english was more lkely a nigerian than american tho the letter was notarized in america atleast to prove it was written in the states

helo i was placed on AP at lagos embassy after my interview.the co asked why none of my wife family attended the wedding and i gave her a written letter from my wife sister and her first son,she went through the letter and told me that the letter was written by a ngerian not an american and so collected the letter and placed me on AP.So my wife wants to get lettes from more of her family members and friends notarised and send to the embassy.so i want to ask whatelse can we do and how long does nigerians who are placed on AP wait long?and if we need to send more documents to the embassy?pls i need your reply thanks

simply go to any national polulation commission around you or send somebody to go with ur details and that of ur parents and pay 3k and birth certificate will be issued to u ok.the embassy will not accept anythin onther than birth certificate issued by national population commission
