  1. i went to pick up my visa at the embassy on the 10th and was told to come back on the 17th as they couldnt attend to all of us present on the 10th. On the 17th after waiting for about 8hrs, i was called to a window and siting there was the co who interviewed me. He told me the staff cant find my file and pleaded with me to bear with him as he did a mistake after the interview and put it somewhere he shouldnt have. He then gave me a new slip and took my phone number saying as soon as they find it, they will authenticate the printing of my visa and get me in to pick it up asap. Is there any concern to worry about? Please if anyone has experience this before kindly let me know how it turned out. Thank you!

  2. i will recommend holy trinity to you because thats where i had my medicals and it was grt. Go with 3 passport pic with a white background and the normal size will do. Remember to go with your passport. Hope this info helps.

  3. the visa is valid for 6 months and run along side with the medicals. And so for instance, if you started your medicals a month ago before your interview and the date for collection of visa is also a month out, it will mean that your visa will only be valid for 4 months and which before that is up, you will have to leave the country. And so, when your visa expires is when your medicals also expires in Ghana. You will have to do a new medicals when there is a delay and for that matter the old medicals expires.

  4. there is nothing to be worried about. As the appointment letter says, get your medicals done and plz get a new police report as the one you sent to the nvc might have expired because the police report is good for 3 months. Get the correct passport pic size and evidences to show proof of a bonafide relationship. Make sure you have copies of whatever docs you sent in to the nvc so that in the event, that they cant find a doc, you will be ready to provide it to them to prevent delays. Good luck on your interview date!
