The point is that the US government is effectively stealing money and deceiving its citizens into thinking that the process works.
Legal family based immigration is fundamentally broken and needs to be fixed NOW. Someone needs to slap the State Department for forcing anyone to go to Juarez, Mexico.
-
Another thought...does anyone know if any of the vehicle companies have cars with Sentri registration?
-
I would like to know too...anyone have thoughts?

My Approval got to the Consulate yesterday!!! Fast Fast Fast... now to make them wait on me HAHAHAA I have the upper hand now!

My plan is to fly my fiance from Monterrey to Dallas, then to El Paso, then cross into Mexico, at the interview they will take her B2 Visa and her Mexican passport.
Is there any way, at all, to while the visa is being processed to fly her back out of El Paso in the reverse direction or will she have to fly via Juarez to Monterrey on a Mexican airline?

It is my understanding that Mexico does not issue "Teacher Certificates" my fiance has been teaching for two years and has a minor in Education.
How does she go about getting a Texas teacher certificate because the state website looks like it never gets updated and doesn't have information for cases like this.

I got hard copy NOA 2 today in the mail dated July 1st!!!!!!
Woooooo
(I didn't get a text or a email, and the website still says initial review so go figure)
-
I would go with this: http://www.dhs.gov/xlibrary/assets/cisomb_dhsform7001.pdf
Its a little much at this point for you to still be waiting.

All you should need to do to get an UK phone (unlocked) is to drop in an ATT sim card into it.
-
Hmm an approval for a NOA 1 the day after mine and
Can I have mine too please?
-
Me too, I want to know where those numbers came from, and what determines the difference.
-
I would get the copies and take them. It couldn't hurt.
-
Do you have some reference for those numbers?
(I like those numbers though)

Does anyone know the reasoning by the apparent high variety in the length of time needed for Juarez to get out the visa to DHL?
Some its the next afternoon, others a week. I know visas can be put into AP, or AP lite but shouldn't some notice be given at the time of approval?
(Since Capt. Ewok closed the last thread due to size here is a link to it. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/37896-juarez-consulate/ )

More VSC March approvals....yah
Ok, I am getting a little excited now.
Wouldn't be hilarious if while I am in Mexico the latter part of this week, it gets approved.... It would be "early" but I doubt I would care much.

Euless here

Go March, it has begun...now give me mine........

ELP to BOS
I picked a date 2 weeks from now.
Cheapest is $204 Tax $25.10 for a total of $229.10 very reasonable.
Routing is El Paso to Dallas Forth Worth to LGA New York to Boston
If you want fewer stops you can go ELP to LAX to BOS
This is all on American Airlines.

Checking Igors isn't a syndrome till your checking multiple times a day on the weekend.
-
I am gaining hope right now, the "offical" approximate process date has been jumping two days every day for VSC...that can only mean good things.

Does anyone have current information about the expedite request process? Is it as simple and sending the letter (to whom?) with the request and the reason(s)?
I would give specifics but it seems to me that only starts..."it will not get approved...that is a ####### reason". I just want to know how it is done.
I will leave it at this, I am worried about my fiancee's safety.

None.
There was a good post here on VJ somewhere about a month or two ago that delved into the differences between N/A and None. Quite entertaining reading, it was.
All the best with the rest of your journey and the paperwork!
Link?

To be honest I don't have to go through the line anymore, I started participating in the Global Entry program, where you use those Kiosk machines.

Its a simple as this, USCIS, we pay a fee, that fee is both statutory and regulatory in nature and is supposed to support the full processing cost of the filling petition. At the Consulate/NVC, we pay an additional application fee for the visa that serves the same process.
There is no reason why these services would need to be shut down because they are self supported by user fees. If they do get shut down I guess that is just one more thing that needs to be added to yours and mine immigration reform issues.
CD. Juarez packet 3 taking too long to arrive.

My Fiance and I also did not get a letter.
I got tired of waiting, they said go ahead and file the paperwork and make the appointment, just bring the appointment letter.
