My berry has his visa/passport in hand. The Embassy was nice enough to call him and schedule for him to pick it up today. They also emailed me to let me know his passport was ready for pickup and wish us luck on our future endeavors. Talk about professionalism. Im typing and smiling at the same time. My Berry got his visa/passport today. The Embassy was nice enough to call him to pick it up instead of waiting forDHL to deliver it. I am the happiest woman at this moment. Waited 15 business days and to think Wednesday night he will be on a flight coming home. Yayyyyyy!!!!!

Day 11 and my berry still has not received his visa. DHL told him 5 business days and on Friday the Embassy informed me that his case is in its final processing stages. ####### is that?? I thought that once you bring in the necessary paperwork, there's not much of a wait. Im tired of waiting. This process is taking its toll on me

hey aimee,
he dropped off his completed medical on the 1st of sept. Tracking # says delivered and then on hold on 9/2. nothing after that. We call DHL everyday, nothing. I decided after day 10 to email the embassy. They told me that its in its final stages of processing. My assumption is once they receive the needed paperwork they can just print the visa, give it DHL and he can pick it up from them. This waiting when its so close to wire is really hard.

Approved w/ a minor issue. He has one vaccination to receive. Once he gets that hes good to go!!! Im happier than ever. Thanks to renee, sheree and carolina for being my rock when i need it. The journey isnt over but this part of doing alone is. God is good!!!!

Had a beautiful day. Before I begin, let me say that God is Great!!!! I emailed the Jamaican Embassy today for the 3rd time requesting an earlier date. I thought I was gonna get an email back sayin, "Lady, quit stalking us". Instead I got one saying the interview date has been moved up from 9/2 to 8/8 @9:30am. per email from the jamaican embassy,"We have updated your fiance's case and we wills chedule a visa interview for him at the earliest available date. Please send us an email next week and we will be happy to provide you with the details of the appointment'. How i wish i was getting off this emotional rollercoaster sooner than later.

Its sad to read that couples are not withstanding the long distance relationship. Its sad that you guys came this far (NOA-2 in hand) and walk away now? im not gonna stand on my soap box, but i know theres a few people out there in VJ land that wouldve love be that couple with a NOA-2 in there hand.
