    I just wanted to say thank you to everyone. He has been here almost a month now! We picked up the marriage certificate. We havent decided on when we are going. But please just keep faith. We went thru a struggle but hes here! Sometimes I wake up in the night to make sure im not dreaming!!

      still waiting!! everone in this dr office are #######. first the paper was sent, then it wasnt sent, then it was, and then it wasnt again! DR THEARD is the ###### worse. I hate him.

    Hey guys they said for him to bring his passport, photocopy of his passport and $10. And they also said his medical expired so hes gonna have to do it all over! I pray we dont have to pay a lot of money for a new one. What do you guys think?

    Thank you for the well wishes. we went to the interview. and the guy was really nice. he interviewed him for about 20 minutes and then interviewed me about 20 minutes and then they told us they will get in contact with us. so hopefully it went well.

    Same thing they are doing for almost everyone. To my understanding its not a stokes interview. They basically want to see how you guys interact with each other. and ask a few questions. Im going in a few weeks. But a lot of ppl that i spoke to said its not a stokes cause we arent married.

    Thank you soo Much. I couldnt post in the portal/forum for some reason. I will keep you informed. Everyone keeps telling me its not a stokes interview. but on this website everyone thinks they know everything. Its a learning process. And especially when it comes to Haiti. But we just have to be patient and keep each other informed. Let me know when they give your interview. :)

    Ok so my fiance was called in for a second interview and I have to go with him!! Does anyone know what that means or what takes place?

      They rescheduled mine dual interview for april 16 at 8am on a saturday. I asked if I needed to bring anything but they did not respond to that part of the e-mail. The e-mail just stated dual interview. Would they tell you if it was a stokes iterview.

      I honestly dont know a lot of ppl told me its not as bad/detailed as a stokes interview. They also said they basically wanna see how we react with each other. so im not sure.

      I see that your interview is for April 26 how did you find out when your interview date was and who type of interview it would be?

      You will find out when your interview is when you pick up packet 4 at Haiti Messager. You can find out sooner though if you call DOS at 202-663-1225. Press 1 then 0 to get an operator. The only way that you have to do a dual interview is if they request it after the first interview. Of course you can always be at the first interview so that you don't have to go down later for a dual interview.

    Hey what step exactly are you up to now? Since we are doing the same petition same country i figure we could heflp each other. As for me, im already up to the interview. which is nxt week! :)
