from my personal experience, you will not be allowed. they will tell you to go to the us citizen services to wait for him. again, thta was my experience, i wouldnt travel to naija just because of that. goodluck on the interview.

This silly consular are wasting people's life,energy and money.my fiancee was also put on AP for no apparent reason. I know how how hard to live without your love one especially when you already thought you will be seeing them after the interview. Don't give up,keep praying to God.

Imagine waiting for the approval for this long and at the interview was placed on AP. I'm just begging God to pls take control. I haven't seen my fiancee in 5 months. This immigration process is a silent killer.

my fiancee is currently completing his medical at the moment. it's 3 visit, he started on thursday and will be done on monday. we paid 21,000.00 naira. hope this helps you, goodluck.

I also was approved on the feb 2. I sent the embassy 2 emails and after 10 days or so they finally replied to my first emai with the packet and interview. In addition I was calling DOS but they didn't have any info regarding when the case arrived in Lagos, packet, or interview date. Try the email option, you will need to provide them with case number, beneficiary's name, and date of birth.

i called the dept of state but the only thing they told was that my case is already in lagos and that it left on the week of the feb 11th, i dont know what date to track since they didnt specified. thanks for your input, i really appreciate it.

Welcome to vj! U can always track ur pkg as ladydare mentioned above. When i need to track my pkg i had to play around witj the dates so if they sent ur pkg on the 11th use the 10th. Good luck

it looks like we are in the same boat. our case left nvc on feb 11th, i emailed the lagos embassy 3 times already but all i got was the auntomatic response email. i guess we need to keep waiting and praying. i understand what you are going through bcos im going through it too, will keep you posted if i hear from the lagos embassy, im just praying to God that is soon. goodluck

Probably thinking too much into this but our case left NVC Feb. 9 and the embassy in Lagos has not received it yet. I've look at past timelines and most of them only took a few days to a week to arrive. Should I be concerned? I have been calling DOS and they have no record except when it left NVC. I also emailed the embassy and have not received a response (just their auto response) from them. However, I do see that others from Nigeria who were approved around the same time as me have either not heard about their case also or have not updated their timeline. Anyone else having the same issues? When should I be concerned? Thanks.
