Mailed AOS packet on 11/20/2010, and had the interview today 03/09/2011.... AOS APPROVED !!!!!! waiting for GC in the mail. GOD is great!! GOD is wonderful !!! GOD bless us all

Just had my interview today. Similar situation, my husband is independent contractor ( he's a musician) so no permanent employment, I was so worried that we need to produce 2010 tax return. I just brought the copied checks from some of his last gigs. The IO never asked for it. I got aprroved today!!!

I have applied for AOS in Nov 2010 and will be going for an interview in less than two weeks. Anyone can share their recent interviews in the Los Angeles office?

My husband is a musician and get paid mostly in cash, we haven't got ready to file our 2010 tax yet and I'm afraid that the IO might ask for it. We submitted our 2009 tax return with our filing. Will this be a reason to get denied?

We have been married since Oct 2009 and have an 11 month old son.

Also , I just found out, I think I might have a tax lien on me, will this prevent me from getting my GC?

I am so nervous and excited at the same time. I really hope everything will go smoothly. I would like to be able to go back home soon, especially since I could not when my dad passed away last year
