Hey, guys! Our congrats on Anna's GC! Justin, how could you save $300+? Didn't you file EAD & AP along w/ 485, for a total of $1070? Or you filed EAD & AP separately, but did not attach a AOS NOA1? We filed all 3 together. It costed us 2 extra marriage certs, $14 for each, for EAD & AP packages

Our concern was 1)to have an AP for an emergency travel while 485 is pending with USCIS, 2) to have EAD if Vladimir runs for private office before the interview :-P

From my understanding of what our "officer" stated, the EAD/AP was optional, and since we only received the card a week before the interview, it was not needed. EAD/AP status is void after the GC stamp is made. We did file the whole dollar amount of $1070, which included the EAD/AP. Since the EAD/AP was void only a week after we received it, I asked him if we could have just saved that money and he said yes!? Anyhow, good luck with the interview process! Let us know how i...
