Well I called the NVC and asked them but they sent me an email with the interview date time and instructions about 6 days after my case was completed at the NVC.

Well my case was completed March 22nd 2011. and they gave me an interview date for May 19th 2011. So usually they schedule about a month or so in advance. They sent me Packet 4 with the interview date information on March 28th 2011. Hopefully your interview date will be scheduled with less waiting than mine. Good luck

Yes you can get your police clearance, and its probably better to get it done since it takes them 2-3 weeks to send it to the US consulate in Jerusalem. But for your medical your doctor will need the Packet 4 sent that has your information on it.
