  4. So how long does it take for NVC to enter your information? 15 days to receive it and then another 20 to input it? This is crazy! Is there an average amount of days it usually takes to be input?

  5. I am just waiting to receive the letter to take care of it tomorrow. We were married in SC and the way they record their marriages is different from how USCIS wants it. I just needed to get the court down there to write a letter stating what their process is. I hope to overnight back to CSC tomorrow night. Fingers crossed for you!!!

  6. I received my RFE today, it has to do with my marriage license. I will post exactly what it said in the morning since my file is at the office.

  9. We got an RFE on Monday, still waiting to get the hard copy. I have been over and over my packet and I can't find what I have missed. Maybe we could compare notes??

  10. There is some sort of legal loophole in Florida i just saw on the news, there may be a couple of other states too. A man was able to adopt his girlfriend to control his assets so that if something happened to him his money wouldn't go to someone else. Florida law would be a a good place for your friends to start. I don't have space to type it all out here. Msg me if you want more info.

  11. It's terribly long...too long. CSC says their timeline is 5 months, they need to be able to stay within that. I have been in touch with my Congressman, my Senator and now I have an Immigration attorney involved. Will let you know if any of them help!!

  12. He is from Diest. You?

  13. Oh I am so happy to have stumbled on your profile. We are a day away from the four month mark and I was starting to panic. Glad to see there are more of us still waiting. Best wishes.

  14. Trying to stay positive and patient, we are a week away from four months from filing and still no word. I know its a waiting game but geez, four months is a long time. Just looking for some words of encouragement...thanks!!
