  1. As far as I know, packet 3 never arrived. My fiance broke things off last Sunday (week ago yesterday) so we actually never went to Juarez and the interview never happened. I couldn't figure out how to deactivate this account but I probably won't be on any more. Good luck to you!

  2. Well the people on the phone say we don't need it. I am just going to hope it arrives and if not I'll send Jorge with everything else and a determined attitude. We could probably be waiting for that dumb packet until after the petition expires knowing Mexican mail.

  3. Hooray!! I'm so happy for you!! We didn't get packet 3 yet. Sent June 14th. Interview is scheduled for August 12th.

  4. I just read your Consulate review. Congrats!

  5. Queretaro is where my fiance lives! I was just there visiting for about 2 weeks and in the past I lived there for about a year and a half. It's a nice place to be, but it's not home. I'm going to keep hoping for ya.

  6. Where in Mexico is your fiance? I don't think you'll need to go back there. NOA2 is on its way - it has to be!

  7. (I hope you hear soon.) Then let's work on lobbying to change this horrid process.

  8. Hi, thank you. I feel somewhat guilty that we got approved much faster than so many others :( I wrote to my senator soon after I sent the I-129F asking if there would be any way to change the visa interview location (Ciudad Juarez = yikes!!) and when he "looked into" the matter, he also checked on the status of the case. I'm wondering if somehow that helped? I hope you hear ...

  9. Thank you!! I'm so thrilled :)

  10. Hey, thanks! Good luck to you as well. I checked your timeline and looks like you may get NOA2 soon - I hope!

  11. (Thanks for your response! That's great to know :)

  12. Thanks for your review. It was so helpful! So you received your answer on the same day as the interview? The info on here says you have to wait a week, and I was curious if that was true. Thanks and congrats!

  13. Oh wow, good for you (I'm always impressed by gringo/as who "last" a long time living in Mexico)! Family was another big reason why I wanted to return.

  14. Hi! Thanks for your message. I'm checking out your blog right now. How long have you been living in Mexico? I lived in Queretaro for about a year a half. I miss it (but I just couldn't make enough money down there). Except some comments from me on your blog :P.
