I'd really appreciate some clear information on the following, as I'm confused about the whole thing.
I am an Irish citizen, and my father, also Irish, married an American woman some years ago and is now a legal US citizen. Just a few weeks ago, he filed a I-130 form for me to be able to get a greencard. On the US government website it says that my status is 'case review' or similar, so the whole thing is really very much in the beginning stages.
Meanwhile, I am going to be travelling soon to the US, just for 3 months, on the visa waiver program.
I couldn't find clear information on whether or not I could travel, so I decided to chance my arm and buy the ticket to the states, and am hoping I wont run into any problems while arriving to the states.

Hello,
I'd really appreciate some clear information on the following, as I'm confused about the whole thing.
Any advice or opinions?
Thank you in advance
