F2 visa rejected in Student & Exchange Visitor Visas Posted February 15, 2011 Following is the background related to my question: * I have F1 (student) visa and currently I am working as a part of my OPT. * My wife applied for F2 dependent visa, but it was rejected. * She has a valid 10 year tourist visa. Q. Would it be advisable for her to visit US on her tourist visa? Whether she will be allowed to apply for F2 visa after coming back from US? we are not very sure if this would be a good idea. Any views would be really helpful.
