  1. Good Evening,

I am the husband of a Filipina who was told today by St. Luke's staff to come back December 8th for a "personal evaluation". My wife is extremely shy and didn't ask the person to clarify what that meant. I'm assuming they found something in her lung X-Rays and will do the Sputum test. Can anyone think of another reason they would bring her back a week later?

Unfortunately, her embassy interview was supposed to be this Thursday.

Has she been to an annulment? Because sounds like she will be having a psychiatric evaluation which is common to annulled applicants or those seen with marks of suicide attempts :)

God bless on your journey :)

  2. K1 INTERVIEW - OCTOBER 21, 2011, RECEIVED 221G

OCTOBER 28 - SENT THE DOCS

NOV 2 - RECEIVED BY THE USEM

NOV 3 - MY FIANCE CALLED AND THEY SAID IT IS UNDER REVIEW BY CONSULAR OFFICER

IT'S OUR 3RD WEEK WAITING NOW.

    1MONTH AFTER THE INTERVIEW...

    4WEEKS AFTER SENDING THE DOCS...

    3WEEKS AFTER THE USEM RECEIVED...

I WILL BE SENDING PRAYERS FOR ALL OF US HERE WAITING FOR OUR VISAS TO BE APPROVED.

    GOD BLESS US ALL.

  3. He is now permanently employed and earning enough money. What consul told me is, he did not meet the poverty guideline. Its show in his income tax that he is unemployed in the early part of 2010 so maybe that make the consul deny our case. In window 72, a Filipino lady gave me a white paper with an BIG X- You likely be come a public charge. But she told me we have 12 mos to submit proof that he has sustained income to support me.

with this Khaizen, you were given a 221g form where you need to submit additional documents as proof that he has sustained income to support you...it could be bank statements, recent current pay stubs, or even co sponsor..keep your faith high..hang on Khaizen, God is in control :)

  4. I recently met someone who has the same status as mine. We both have pending approved I-140 cases as Registered Nurses in the US but haven't withdrawn the petitions.

Last Oct 21, she had her interview for K1 but was given a 221g because she haven't passed the NCLEX yet. Something which I don't understand as to why was it connected even to a K1 visa... I haven't taken my NCLEX too and do not have plans yet of taking it here since I don't have plans of working as a nurse yet when I'll get to the US because it's difficult to work on shifts if yoi have a 15 month old baby.

I really don't get it... Merely applying for the NCLEX will take several months and passing it even without ample preparation is much more difficult.

Has anyone had the same issues with the US Embassy Manila? Please help!

thanks for this marj :)..i really would love to hear comments from other members who's been thru this :(..

  5. You can use skypelogview to print out your call logs. Just download it. Overkill is good, so gather as much evidence as you can.

The NOA2 is needed for Adjustment of Status, you don't need it at this point. At least I never needed it anyway. You are free to contact NVC

As for co-sponsor, I am confused about this, because when I had my interview they did not accept my co-sponsor form (petitioner's dad) but other people say their co-sponsor forms were accepted, so it won't hurt to try. But it is much better if you already earn above the poverty line, which you do. We also don't own a house so it doesn't mtter. Provide tax returns, employment letter and pay stubs.

hi..i'm new here..you said your co sponsor form wasn't accepted but is your husband's income qualified the 125% poverty line? if not, did they still got you approved?..we have kinda the same problem about the co-sponsor thingy..my fiance's income doesn't reach the 125% because he just started with his job last november as full time..and because he used to study while working and haven't filed taxes the past years because of this..that's why we will be needing a co sponsor..his income as of the moment from november doesn't reach that 125% yet but then once computed annually it is over that 125% poverty line..would that be ok if ever the Phil embassy won't consider having a co-sponsor?..oh..well, this is our only problem as to the processing of the visa is concerned..another question about the co-sponsor thing is if my US citizen brother will be qualified to be our co sponsor for the I-134 or even the I-864a soon on the AOS?..

i'm hoping someone could help me about this..thanks so much!!
