Hi! I've been here in the United States for a month already. Before I leave the Philippines, I was like her too. I wanted to be with my husband (we were separated 8.5 months) but at the same time I don't want to leave my family and friends. It's a big sacrifice that I'm gonna leave everything I have in the Philippines for my husband. I was scared and nervous but my husband do everything for me not to be so homesick. He lets me skype with my family and friends, we go to filipino store or restaurant if i miss eating filipino foods and he introduce me to his filipino friends. So, I think its a normal feeling but when she gets here and you make her feel that you love her so much and both of you are happy together, everything will be okay. good luck!

Really? Is that just for just the CENOMAR or everything? Birth Certificate, Marriage Certificate, and CENOMAR? I thought NSO copies are good for a year? I have the green copies now. Those are the current ones, right?
yup! green is the current but it doesn't matter for the CENOMAR because what i gave is a yellow scanned copy from last year before i got married
-
Nice!!! Congrats on the approval! My husband and I were debating before whether to get the CENOMAR thing or not. It seems like it's part of the documents being inspected/asked now for CR/IR visa applicant. It's really better to be prepared rather than assume.
Congrats again!!!
Thanks Yang! We were also debating about that before because my husband told me that they will not ask for it coz we are already married but I dont want to take a risk so I asked the help of my godmother to get it from the cityhall.. Thank God I have that with me.

Hi,
I would like to ask how you can schedule advanced medical from St. Lukes. Please advise.
thanks!
Mrs. P
Hi! you just go there at St.Lukes and bring with u your notification letter and passport. No need to schedule.

What I did was 1 week before my interview I went to the Cityhall where I passed my CENOMAR and asked my mother in law (who is working there) to get the copy of my CENOMAR. So I have it scanned. If you know someone from the cityhall, asked for help. They can give a copy of it.
-
It went really well. the filipino interviewer has so many questions for my initial interview and for the final interview, an American interviewed me and he was very nice and friendly.
-
I had my interview today for CR1 visa and on my initial interview, CENOMAR was asked.
-
everything should be original

Before I got married, the cityhall asked for my CENOMAR and I can't get another copy of it from the NSO because I'm no longer single. I'll just pray that the CO will not ask for it my for CENOMAR.

]Hi there! I've read from one of the reviews of VJers (sharing their experience)in Manila Consulate that the consul asked for a CENOMAR during her interview.Do they really ask for it even you are already married? I passed my CENOMAR in the city hall because it was one of the requirements before I got married. I'm worried now because I don't have a copy of it and I can't get it anymore coz I was already registered as Married. HELP!

went there early coz I've read in some blogs that Its better to be early though. lol! but at least I'm clear with my medical.
-
I will probably have an x-ray test before going to Manila just to be sure.
Thank you so much for the info. God Bless.
Good Luck! Its better to be there early as possible. I went there at 3:45 in the morning and I was 11th in the line! lol. They started at 6am and have finished at 9am.

you can call the embassy or check on line. I'm thinking June is no longer available for the K3.
-
I'm gonna have June 21st appointment at 6:15 in the morning. I wonder if someone out there have the same interview date as mine. I'll be happy to meet you
-
I think he should call the embassy to confirm and ask them what he needs to do. He can call in this number (02) 982 5555

I just had my medical last week. My medical went well. The standard is 2 days medical. 2nd day is the result and immunization. If you have a problem in your x-ray then you are required to go back on the third day to have sputum test. This will delay your interview if the sputum test is positive. If you have a recent X-ray result (3 months old) then bring it so they have a basis. Good luck
-
Everything will be alright. I just had my medical last Wednesday and I was cleared. You have to bring your x-ray result so they have a basis. You don't have to worry.

I received mine through email. NVC attorney is gonna send you an email letter correspondence relates to an immigrant visa. Attached there is the Immigrant Visa (IV) Application processing fee bill invoice for each applicant, and the Affidavit of Support (AOS) Processing Fee Bill Invoice for the case, how and where to send the payment.

Hi there! You have to talk to your fiance about it. In this case, you will have so many expenses. It's time to ask him that you are just wondering how are you gonna pay for your medical and interview. Are you gonna split the cost or he's gonna send money to pay for it? something like that.
Good luck!

Check this site. It might help you.. good luck with your interview!

Congratulations!! you will be reunited with your partner soon!

You can subscribe to USCIS so that if there is a change in your status you will know right away through email or text message. In our case, we've waited for 6 months for our petition to be approved. Just be patient and you will receive the good news anytime soon. Good luck

Why did our Immigration Lawyer have us file an I-130 and then an 1-129F 2 weeks after that? Both Petitions were approved on Monday, April 18th and now the K3 is probably gonna be a non-factor and we will have to go through a Immigrant Visa. Our lawyer originally said we would be going through the K3 process and when my wife gets to the U.S., we would then have to pay Dept of Homeland Security $1,050 for a Change of Status for her and she would probably be allowed to work in 90 days when the Change of Status was approved. As it stands now, if we go through Immigrant Visa process, will it take longer? Also, why do we only have an estimated $495 in filing fees for this Visa as well as supposedly being issued a green card and SS# within weeks of her Port of
Entry to the U.S. Is this accurate???
Is It Paranoia? Advice pls...

in my opinion, she doesn't really love you. She doesn't treat you right now that you are apart from each other. What more when you are together?
