  1. Good Afternoon!

I need help I had asked before regarding my PD im F2A From mexico and my pd is on 02/18/2008 I just checked august visa bulletin and it shows 06/01/2008

I just turned 21 about a week ago but i was inform theres no problem because i have something if i aged is fine. My question is whats the next step what do I need to do my dad is the one in charge of this but I keep asking and theres no answer :( HELP? :help:

  2. How long did it take USCIS to approve the I-130? The time it took USCIS to approve the I-130 is not counted against you. If it took 6 months, then you have an extra 6 months under CSPA; this means your CSPA age for immigration will still be under 21 until you turn 21 years and 6 months old. If it took 12 months, then you have an extra 12 months under CSPA; this means your CSPA age for immigration will still be under 21 until you turn 22 years old (21 + 1 year for USCIS to approve the I-130.)

In your case, it's very likely that your Priority Date will be current in the next few months. Your CSPA age will still be under 21. You will retain the F2a category.

I assume that you have already applied for an immigration visa by filing the DS-230. You have nothing to worry about as long as your CSPA age is under 21.

Thank you I will check on this!! :D

  3. Well....currently ur Category is F2A- Spouses & Children under 21 of Permanent residents and ur chargeable country is Mexico. Currently the PD on State Dept's Visa Bulletin for F2A is Jan 1 2008, but since ur chargeable country is Mexico the PD for Mexico is 1 April 2005, so u r nearly 3 years back of ur date becoming current.

Now, if u turn 21, ur category will be converted from F2A to F2B- Unmarried Sons & Daughters of Permanent Residents. But ur PD will be the same. Now, the PD for F2B for Mexico is way behind i.e 1 July 1992 so a gap of 16 years.

In the mean time if ur Father becomes USC then it will again get converted from F2B to F-1-Unmarried Sons & Daughters of USC retaining old PD. Again PD for F-1 for Mexoco is 22 Jan 1993...not much Difference.

Well...if u want to Immigrate United States early ur second option is better i.e Marrying a USC and immigrating as an Immediate relative...coz there is no cut off dates of Spouses of USC and visas are immediately available for them.

But u haven't mentioned whether ur Fiance is USC????

Woah Im better of getting married with him and accept his help yes he is. Thanks I was thinking that it wouldnt affect me turning 21 already but I guess it is... once again thank you!! <3

My Name Is Yesenia Im 20 Years Old And now I became curious about my legal status.Parents brought me to this country when I was 9 years old I came in with Visa (MEXICO), My father became resident back in 2007 with My sister (USC). He then yet submitted I 130 Immigrant Petition for Relative Fiance(E) OR Orphan Unmarrried Child under 21 pf Permanent Resident. My receipt date is February 22, 2008 and Priority date Feb 18,2008. Notice date is March 10 2010. California Service Center

My question is I ask my dad whats next and he doesnt know we have a lawyer The one who help my dad become a Resident. I wanna know whats the status on priority date or if I have to fill out a form Im getting scared because I turn 21 on July 16 will that effect anything.

Also My Fiance wants to get married to help me out but I dont know if thats a good Idea.
