I got some good news. My fiance got a call today that she should bring her passport in next Tuesday. I think this is finally the end for us

She sent them an email. She said that they responded to her with the same old Cookie-cutter email response . These people are useless!!!

Hey, I called the NVC today and they said that there was an update to our case yesterday that an email was sent to us. We did not receive anything so we are contacting the embassy tomorrow. I told my fiance to call them, but she doesn't want to because she said that they have a crazy call-tree that asks her to press a million buttons and even then she can't get to a live person, so she ...

Still no luck. We have been in AP for over a month now and no end in sight.

I didn't know you could do that. Does the counter restart when you return home to the USA? I thought that you can visit Albania for only a maximum of 90 days in a 6 month period.

Thanks, I hope it won't take long either. I have heard horror stories from people waiting many months or even up to a year. I can't stand being away from her for that long. If it takes more than a couple months then i'll probably end up moving to Albania for a while.

My fiance went for her interview on Sept 8th, they said that everything looks good, all documents are ok, interview went well, but they gave her a 221g form and told her to wait for them to call her. It's been 1.5 weeks now. They did not give us any reason for the AP. When I contacted my congressman, she told me that embassies are giving AP like candy nowadays. I hope our wait isn't long.

Have you heard anything about your Visa status? My fiance had her interview today in Tirana for the K-1 and they told her that they will call her back (they didn't take her visa). We are guessing we are in AP, however we didnt get the 221G form...
