I have good news too. According to USCIS when I checked for any updates on my case, it said "On April 3, 2014, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you."

IMPORTANT!

We had our interview last Feb.8, 2012. We just brought a duplicate AOS packet of what we submitted. Even though we submitted copies of my birth certificate, marriage certificate, husband's naturalization certificate, the IO also asked to see the originals (he just glanced at it in the clearbook I brought) He asked to see both of our passports too. He even questioned why I submitted the I-693 since I already undergone a medical exam in my home country, I just said I followed instructions about the vaccination record not completed. He gave us the impression we didn't need the I-693 (good thing we only paid $15 for the transcription!). He said since we were just newlyweds, its understandable we didn't have enough documents together yet given at the time of the interview

He also made copies of my husband's driver's license & my CA ID since it shows we live at the same address. Other than that, we only had a fax letter from my husband's insurance company showing we were on the same plan. We live with his mother so we couldn't show any lease/mortgages; their family also has a cellphone plan under his mother's name so we couldn't show that either.

Don't forget to bring photos too, especially of the wedding. The IO kept 3 photos of what I brought. The only thing I remember him asking was how we met & scribbled the stuff we said on our file.

I purchased my one-way ticket through them back in August 2011, it was a 1st time immigrant rate as well. I first chatted with them through YM to inquire & asked for rates which they were very prompt in replying. It was a clean & quick transaction. I paid in cash.

I've rescheduled my interview before, from July 18 to Aug. 2 coz of the delay of releasing my NBI clearance last year. From what I remember, the rep was not allowed to inform me about the next available slot until I decided to reschedule, but I took the risk anyway. I guess I was fortunate the date wasn't that far from my initial schedule. The person I talked to from the NBI said that the US embassy was aware of the changes at obtaining the NBI clearance and I can just show the receipt as proof, but I thought it was better to come in for the interview with complete documents instead of getting an RFE and cause further delay.

Aside from checking the visa in the passport, the IO asked for the packet & opened it infront of me. He asked how much money I brought, took my fingerprints & picture. He also reminded me to get married in 90 days to my USC fiancee. That was it.

We've been married for 3 mos now. Our I-129f was approved in 99 days from NOA1 date.

My green card arrived 22 days after I received my EAD card.

I placed K1 Visa Holder Under Current USCIS Status on Form I-485.

Quick question: What are the requirements they needed from you on your AOS interview?

If you're up for an interview for AOS, USCIS will send you a notice with all the requirements you need to bring. Most of it are documents you already submitted, but we brought the originals of the copies we've sent. Don't forget to bring photos too. We also brought a 'duplicate' copy of the AOS packet we sent, just in case.

Its ok to go alone, it only took less than 10 mins for me to finish my biometrics. There were only a few people waiting where we went.

You can also email the USEM to know the status of your approved visa. If you do, be sure to include beneficiary's full name, passport number & case number.

You could check the status of your EAD & AP at the USCIS site, just enter in your receipt number found in the I-797C Action of Notice. That's if you've received those in the mail.

Yeah from what I remember, it took around 2 hours or less, depending on the # of people present.

I got my visa 10 days after my interview. (I lived in Pasig) You can track it at the 2go site using your MNL #.

We just got interviewed last Feb.8 too. From what I remember, we were just asked how we met, then IO asked for some photos which he kept for file. He also asked about stuff we had together (insurance, mortgage, etc).
