  1. Type of service requested:

    -- Outside Normal Processing Times

The status of this service request is:

We have received your inquiry regarding the status of your case. Your case has been assigned to an officer and is currently pending review. Unfortunately, we cannot provide you with an estimated timeframe for review. However, you will receive notification if additional information is required to process your case.

Does anyone have any ideas of what I can do from here on. I put in the request on April 5th. My NOA1 Sep 24

Anyone who has had the same experience.

  2. Yeah, tho I want to try but scared they would be rude to me again, and I dont want to scream and get frustated at them. Or even put myself through a sad mode....This is just all to much really,!!

Im already sad as it is, waking up everyday hoping my life is going change around. Im due with our first kid any day now...so :(

  3. Sad thing is, I have did that. I haved called a local congressman and a Senator. Nothing!! They just both said that its with a adjuncator and is being handled, if I dont heard something in 30 days to call back :(

I again called USCIS, just to see if I would get a helpful answer or if there were something I can do in the mean time while waiting...she was absoutly rude.

My senator said that in the response letter they wrote back that it stated that also they have received another inquiry about it from another congressman. What else can I do

  4. So I am past my six months. I called last week and put in a service request, I have contacted 1 congressman and another Sentaor, both got no response. I am really frustated with this wait. My NOA1 date is Sep 27, 2010...I havent heard anything yet and this is so frustating because when you call they dont tell you anything and when you seek help they tell them that you have inquired with them about this case with a congressman and a senator. So what if I have obviously its because I am tired of the wait and the get nowhere answers from them. Its been over six months and I am just done and frustated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  5. Happy for you, Im feeling hopeless. I filed a service request today. Its just seems like a wait that will never be over. 6+months is a long time to wait. We all know the process its stressful and then when the next step comes I hope I get everything right and everything goes easier. COngratulations to you...I see there must be hope.

Im going to go pamper myself so I dont get down and depressed

    Good Day folks

  6. Is there a formal letter on VJ that I can copy and send to my Senator. I have inquired them to help me, but they have asked me to include a formal letter along with the Privacy Act form. Is there anything speacil I should say. I am asking for there help, because its been just over six months that I have put in my I-129F form. I called and they said I can put in a service request in on April 5th. But I also want to get my Senators invovled.

    Thanks for any replies :)

  7. Any advice or help. I am slowly approaching my six month mark with VSC and I have called and nothing can be done. So I am in the process of contacting my senator. D-MA John Kerry & R-MA Scott Brown.

    Any help with this??????????????

    Sorry I meant my senators!!!

I have contacted my congressman and nothing was done...

  8. I have been waiting and waiting for my NOA2. My NOA1 is dated Sep 27,2010. I called USCIS and my case is at VSC. They said to call back in 16 days to be outside normal processing times. Do anyone have any similar experiences, maybe recieved there NOA2 after calling so many time or close to outside processing time. I have already got my congressman invovled nothing happened!!! I joined the twitter movement........what's next????

  9. I am in the middle of K1 visa process and currently awaiting NOA2, currently have waited 5 months already for the VSC. I am the US petitionar and am 9 months pregnant. Our baby will certainly be born before the interview in Honduras. My question is will they require DNA testing for my fiance (paternity) and of me and the baby to approve the visa and will this subsequently delay the interview or visa??? Please anyone in this situation or previously I would love some info...........

Just to let you know. Me too,! Im currently in my last trimester and still awaitng my NOA2. My dd is in May. Dont know if my finacee will be here for the birth of our first child. Can only hope VSC sends mines and yours out quick. Ive tried to have them expedite our case, but considering Im a healthy pregnancy nothing can be done. Just sit and ride it out

  10. You are probably good as well. If you are going to get a RFE it will be within the first month of processing, if you already received your NOA1 then the next time you will know is at the interview level.

Thank you, it is so overwhelming not knowing what could be next. *Fingers crossed*

    Good Luck to all

Look at the timelines on here - VSC is still processing from August and Sept, so I wouldn't stress yet that you haven't gotten NOA2

I wouldn't wait forever for Packet 3 from the Embassy -you can ask them to email it to you - JA mail is notorious for going MIA.

True, that I havent gotten my NOA2 yet. But I've noticed on the timelines on VJ some people had gotten a RFE months after filing. (shrugs) The best thing/only thing I can do is wait and see
