  1. Hello,

So, I'd like to know if there is anyone that has experienced this before. I  have filed the DS-260 and I also have sent all my supporting documents to NVC for them to review and approve my case. Post Office says it was delivered on July 06th. And I have read that they take up to 48 hours to send an email confirmation saying they have received and that they will now review and  it will take up to 60 days for it to move forward. But in my case, they never sent me that notification. Only yesterday I found out that they received my package on July 06th, the last update from the post office, first I thought it was lost in the mail. So I sent them an email asking what happened and I'm waiting for a reply, I'm also gonna call them and see if I can talk to someone. But now I need to know if any of you have had this frustrating experience or have any ideia of what could be happening.

    Hello,

I need some help here. My husband is American, he is right now living in US and I'm in Brazil waiting on my K3 visa to be approved. We got a letter from USCIS saying that a post decision action was taken on my case for the I129F form and that I got the benefit through other means. What does that mean?? Please, help. It's been 8 months I have filed.

Thank you very much! I'm so happy, have been waiting for this for very long time. Do you know how long this process to get the IR1 approved takes?

  4. Thanks for your reply, but It would be more helpful if someone could give me more info regarding on what do I need to do first and what kind of visa am I applying for to get to United States to then finish the process there. And do you guys know how long does that take? Here in Brazil? Do I need to do the hole process and wait for my green card here in Brazil or I apply here first and then finish the process there. Sorry, but I'm still confused.

  5. Hello,

My name is Tatiana, I am a Brazilian married to an american for 14 years. We currently live in Brazil and back in 2010 we moved to US and stayed there for 2 years, in these two years I acquired my green card and then we had to move back to Brazil and I had to give my green card back to the US Consulate, so now we're moving back to United States for good and I need to know what is the process for me to get back my green card and what do I need to do before the trip, do I apply here for the green card or I can get in with my tourist visa and then apply there in the US?

Thank you in advance for your help!

  6. Hi,

So I have this big problem and I need your help. I was traveling to my home country, Brazil and I lost my passport and my green card, when I was in between conections, from LA to Atlanta. When I was ready to board to Brazil I realized I didn't have my green card or passport with me. They let me travel just with my brazillian ID. I have the hope I'll still find it but in case I don't. Do you guys know if I can use my travel document(advance parole) that they gave me before I got the green card to go back to US? I never had to use the advance parole document because I got my green card before I ever needed to use. Do you know if it is still valid? And if it is possible to do that?

    Thank you.
