      so happy for you.. been looking at your thread since you posted it (my interview was on Nov 23rd). It sucks that you had to wait so long but it will be worth it. Soon you will be married and the wait will be forgotten!

    Can anyone tell me where and when you take your medical for the K1, I can't seem to find that answer?? Do you have to go to the city where your interview takes place?

      When you book your interview in Montreal or Vancouver book the medical for 3 days before so you can do it all the same time and get your results before your interview.

    I have been, and still am sad that we can't get to our NOA2 but looking for the positive in this process I realized this morning how much I have learned. And because we have had months to ponder everything while waiting it's nice to feel we are making progress. My head hurts when I read the newbies just starting. Good luck to all.

      If you hear nothing by December 19th make sure he calls the USCIS and put in a service request because it will after the 60 days specified on the RFE letter. That's what my fiance did and two days later he received an email saying we were approved!!

    OMG 5 months to the day and I get an e-mail for an RFE!!!!! I can't believe it :( Has anyone else recieved their first RFE this long after applying???????

      I got mine after 4 months.. it is a little late. Just send what they require. Take a deep breath! Once you send it back, if you don't hear anything after 60 days make sure to put in a service request.

    My fiance had his interview in London this morning and he was APPROVED!!! I am SO happy!! I just want to thank everyone for helping us along the way. A big, huge thank you goes out to Nich-Nick for all the advice and counsel. I've learned so much from you. Best of luck to everyone else in your visa journey. It can be a long road, but keep focused and ask questions. You can do it!!
