I am posting this for a freind .. He has been here since 1985 and he wants to find out waht he needs to do to become a permanant resident or citizen what should he do ??

Well i seperated the money but look on the uscis site it will tell you what you need to bring also ring them at the info line they will have an idea as well.. but id just do seperate money orders just in case..

Ok well the lady told me today they ahve 20 days to respond to those letters ok well after going to the social security office today and asking how things were going my daughter who appied last week with me ended up with a letter stating her card will be here in two weeks and she can use her homeland security card this was after they messed mine up ive been waiting mmmmmm over 3 or 4 now hopeing they will have something soon How ironic

Ok have recieved my pintarsol from home and Im a happy camper scratching and itching gone, rash gone.. Also invested in some good ole telfast and that seems to dull the itching as well .. but the bathing certainly helps all my rash and iches were gone within 2 days praise the lord .... Oh and almatey my sones got that complaint right now LOL poor little fella

I think ok if my memeory serves me right you have 30 days to enul or renouce the marriage ...I beleive you may still have time ring the place you got married at.. I would find the local county clerks office or court house and give them a call..

Oh and I got myself some geese to kill the bugs and spiders around our house and land they are great for clean up and weeds

Hey Ive had chigger bites for 3 weeks (im miserable) however they are starting to clear up I also got myself a dose of good ole posion ivy while out fencing witht he hubby to keep my dogs in the back paddock.. Ok what I have learnt fromt his experience call home get pintarsol.. To bath in and aslo aveeno oatmeal bath sachets very nice and you feel liek you have your skin back.. Ive tried chigger ex .. some herbal thing caladryle,benodryl, listerine,alcohol,deoderant, Ive tried every thing .. Nothing seems to work for the scratching.. However the plain old calamine lotion did for some time but you need to keep applying..

I think coming from oz this is like pelican itch if anyone has lived near the beach and has had that before its vertually the same deal.. and by the way certainly feel for ya I dont think its worse then oz ....I reakon they are close

Well heres a little twist to the ssn number .. Ok i applied about two weeks ago the office sent off the forms to the uscis and low and behold as I was taking my daughter in for her 10 day wait they tell me they didnt photo copy mine properly and they had to re submit it to the office LOL oh the lady goes "oh yes I seen that this morning I was going to call you" it was like 3.00 pm in the afternoon I wonder when she was going to call perhaps tommorow or the next week.,. Its a load of bs but I supose there is now another 4 week wait on the number .. I have to say its rediculous and yes i lost the cool composure that i normally have with govermaent agencies since this is my fourth trip in there to aquire one and to be still told no card no number no nothing no updates .. Still waiting on my number I guess my AOS will come first knowing my luck...

haHAHAH IMMIGRANT VISA PROCESS LOL WHAT A JOKE HONESTLY THE DORA PROGRAM OK IF YOU READ THE PRINT SAYS ITS SUPPOSED TO BE 90 DAYS TO PROCESS . YOU DONT HAVE TO PAY FOR A WORK PERMIT BECAUSE YOU SHOULD GET A GREEN CARD INSTEAD HOWEVER THE 70 DAY LETTER GAVE ME AN APPOINTMENT TO GET AN EAD CARD ON THE DAY .. BECAUSE THEY CANT PROCCESS MY CASE IN THE 90 DAYS THERE FOR I HAD TO PAY ANYWAY FOR THE EAD CARD.. SORRY FOR THE MIX UP THERE ,BUT THE DORA PROGRAM IS A FAST TRACK TO APPLYING FOR AOS IN THE DALLAS AREA.. ITS JUST ALOT OF PROCCESS THATS ALL .. WELL I AHVE TO TELL YOU ITS NOT BEEN A FREE RIDE NOR HAS IT BEEN SIMPLE TO FILE ALL THIS PAPERWORK ALONG WITH WAITING ..NOT THAT EASY ON SPOUSES AND KIDS AT ALL..

btw when i turned up for my interview they said they didnt do EAD's there and to keep that paperwork..

plus I am still unable to work for 4 weeks so the social security paper says until there stuff matches up with the uscis how does that work huh go figure nothing suprises me anymore if its to easy then generally there is a catch ...

Oh Buzz 17 try a differnt bank cause you can be on a bank account with out a ssn number I have jsut been added to my hubbys and we opened up a new one with a totally differnt bank.. all they ask is when i get the number to add it later..

We are int he dora program and we recieved the 70 day letter stating that they are unable to finish our case in 90 days and they had scheduled an ead and Ap appointment in the same letter with a date and so forth .. The interview !!!!! which wasnt even an interview but was merly a 2 -3 hr wait and then a pic and a fingerprint again which took 3 min in a line up with 3 other people .. Proccessed that second by the loverly officer there ... I then recieved the card in hand before I left.. But I do recall when i went for my first dora appointment at the other place they told me the same thing no Ead proccessing there unloiek what is stated online.. My EAD appointment was at a diffent location, Homeland and Security just down the road..

cant you get a copy of that packet three on line fromt he embassy and all that medical stuff you should be able to draw down off line if im correct..

They want to make it difficult for spouses. I mean hey who really needs to contribute to the household after all we are only just a number to them oh and a wife or husband with no cause .. I reakon they are just seeing who will crack under the pressure LOL hahahha

SSN number and ead cards is a joke we pay good money for what ????

BTW I was also told to go straight down and get a card oh and low and behold no information on comp have to wait 4 weeks for a card if the information lines up with theirs LOL

I was wondering about the 70 day letter.. I recieved mine stating they are ubnable to complete my case with in the time frame of 90 days in the Dora program .. Now they have also scheduled me for another interview in the next 2 weeks for my EAD .. Do we have to pay for this as well or what happens I have read the thread DORA but there is no answers for me in that thread anyone who has comments on this experience would be greatly appreciated .. as im a Bit confused ..

You will, however, be required to submit a vaccination supplement with our adjustment of status application. The vaccination supplement must be completed by a designated civil surgeon.

That exception rule is what i told the immigration lady plus I also had my vac suppliment in hand as well and she still told me she couldnt see my HIV tests and so on so she wanted a full medical done on all of us even though we had done the medical 4 months prior to entry to the US seems they are making alot of us do this even though we enter doing medicals in our own country. Just revnue raising for doctors I supose those poor doctors arnt getting paid enough to eat a decent meal LOL

You know what i really miss is cottees cordials and milo and the quick here has so many vitimans in it im not sure if i want to put it in my system i might just jump out of my skin....

What about hawwii is that also counted as the US or will you have to go through customs from there

Ring the motor registry for information regarding drivers licence rules.. They should have a list that says what you need to supply to them.. I signed an exempt ssn form to say I didnt have a social security number and that was ok.. All I needed was a valid visa or 194 I beleive and proof of identity like birth cert ..

My husband applied a few days before i got here and put myself and the two kids on his... Id speak with the insurance company though.... And see if you can do a deal through work.. It just dosnt sound right

I thought k3 and 4s can travel in and out as they please thats what I was told we didnt have to apply for a travel pass...

If its just for photos for AOS and the other forms just go to Walmart or Walgreens or anywhere really that does passport style pics... Thats all I did and they were fine they accepted them..

Go through the civil surgeon list one by one they all charge differnt amounts dont get ripped off more civil surgeon charge what they want to charge..

I had to have another medical even though the 3 of us had one prior to entering on a k3 and 4 visas..
