    remember that you only have 3 months after you enter the us to get married. try to get all the paper work ready so you dont waste time. by the way you do not have to wait for your green card to get a social security, you can just go to a social security office with your

    I-94 ( is the small white paper that they gave you when you enter the us) and they will mail you a ss card
