You're meant to wait about four days (about how long it takes after the medical for the information to make it to the embassy) and then you can start calling the Department of State (same number as the NVC) and asking when your interview is scheduled for. Hey, for the NVC, you'll want to call them at 202-663-1225, hit 1 and then 0. Tell the operator your NOA2 receipt number and ask for a case number/status.
