I am wondering if there is a link of what documents to send with N400 other than the obvious marriage cert and green card etc.... Do you need to include proof of marriage like with Removal of Conditions or not required? Hoping to get this sent of this week. Thanks in advance!

I expedited my RFE package last week and it shows as received on June 26th. I am signed up for text and email updates. Do you know how long it usually takes to hear from them? Do they typically send updates for RFE via texts and emails? Feeling anxious. I just want this to be over!!! Something I am sure you can all relate to

Yes it's for removing my conditions…. I applied in December and then I got the RFE. I have submitted lease agreements, car insurance… pictures.. letters from friends and family. I am am just fearful of the whole RFE thing.

I am just wondering if other people have had to show this when they didn't have joint bank accounts - how big of a deal is it if I don't….

I am working on our RFE and I am starting to panic.. now I know why I have put it off for so long. It's asking for proof of shared resources. We have filed taxes together .. but no shared bank accounts or both names on utility bills etc. We have lease agreements together (They stated they weren't complete and "unofficial"). I have asked my landlord to provide a letter of support. I kept my canadian bank account because it has a joint with my US account of the same bank - I didn't see the point of trying to get ANOTHER bank account (other than this obviously - which slid by me). I have never had joint bank accounts with anyone and it's not really something i am super keen on. We have our car insurance in both our names. Medical stuff. Our driver's license's show old addresses because they don't send you change of address stickers here in CAlifornia.

I am freaking out - for christs sake I left an $80,000 a year job in Canada to live here and I am now making $17 an hour. That in itself should be enough proof.

Any and all help and suggestions is very appreciated.

Ok last minute panic - I am organizing folder for interview monday - my passport photos I have aren't 2x2 - they are the canadian size whatever that is... will they not accept them? do I need to run and get others right now????? UGH

I am not too concerned about getting the visa in a hurry - this illness has kinda screwed my plans for December departure... so... waiting to see how that all pans out. But I will be driving. Just trying to find out the least expensive way to get my stuff there. The joys of living on an island - adds a lot of $$$$ and headaches.

Well I had my wisdom teeth out - then had a bleed as complication that had to be cauterized and then got a bacterial infection from hospital which I am on antibiotics for.. yes.. NIGHTMARE... So not really sure.... taking my medical records for this event - hopefully that's enough. Do they ask you to sign for permission to access your medical files?

Has anyone else been thoroughly confused re the surgery and hospitalizations re the Woking medical website? It says on there

Bring physician's letters regarding any C H R O N I C illness, MAJOR surgeries or any hospitalizations.

If your information is incomplete, YOUR CASE WILL BE DEFERRED.

Major surgery usually involves an overnight stay and/or anesthesia. Your records should include the reason for surgery, the outcome

and prognosis. Please note that C-section birth, tonsilectomy, appendectomy, arthroscopic knee surgery, breast implants or wisdom teeth removal are

not considered major surgery.

If you have a Chronic Illness EITHER PAST OR PRESENT, bring information about your diagnosis, treatment and current status of your condition.

Ensure you bring enough information to clearly outline your history and current condition or your case will be deferred until the proper information is received.

Patients who have previously tested positive for TB & HIV must bring good documentation regarding the current status and treatment records.

MAJOR surgeries OR hospitalizations!??? MAKE UP YOUR MIND... where else are you having minor surgery? In a van??? And without anesthesia?? I don't have one family Dr.. so I am unable to get all my records. I am starting to freak out now. My medical is Wednesday and I fly to Montreal Sunday...

I am looking for cheaper ideas for shipping my goods to California - truck rentals are so expensive with gas etc... my brain is overloaded and not really capable of cognitive thought. Thought maybe people who have done this already might have some ideas.

INTERVIEW IN 6 SLEEPS!

So I filed electronically - and have my interview in Montreal November 21 (YAY)... I see that some people are being asked to fill out the DS230 at the consulate even though DS260 was filed online - I printed off my DS260 can I not just provide that? or do they still want the 230? Seems ridiculous

So I am curious - I am just at the end of my CR 1 - interview in Montreal. I just heard today that someone who has gotten a CR 1 interview at the Vancouver Consulate NOT Montreal.. if this is true I am going to be unimpressed... Anyone heard of this?

is there yet ANOTHER fee to pay at the interview? or is the medical the last one?
