Been sooo long since I gave an update. Still waiting for the EAD and the AOS. Hope everyone's doing great.

Went to the USEM this afternoon to get the correction on my son's visa stamp. That's all.

Hiccup!!! Error on my son's visa stamp. Wrong gender. Dunno if I should send the passport and the visa packet or just the visa. Called USEM and talked to 2 callcenter agents. The one said to mail it both. The other one said just the passport.

How many days til one receives their vis after it has been approved? i sooo wanna have mine and my son's already. sooo wanna book a flight!!!

Approved! Such a happy day. Just waiting for the passport with visa, so we can finally book a flight. Sooooo excited to finally be with my babe.

Was finally done with the Medical for me and my son last Monday.

we went there together.
had issues though cause he had history of primary complex. so the 2 day medical exam became 3 days. but all is good now. we just showed them a med certificate and he also passed the tuberculin skin test and xray. so.. we're all good now. you should do the same. if you have a child, bring him/her already. dont do the medical separately. sooo time consuming. -

they will ask u about ur medical history. as with my son, he had one. (and every child will undergo a tuberculin skin test wherein the results of the said exam will know if you have been exposed or have active tb.) anyways, we had to get a med cert from his pedia. he had undergone the tst and the xray at slmc-ec. after it was revealed that he was clear from any communicable dse.. he passed.

Passed Medical Exam. Need to go back on Monday though. For my son's results. Gonna be waiting for hours again.

Done with 1st day of Medical Exam with my son. Scheduled to go back on Friday. Two sleepless nights of worrying about the results. Yikes!!!

How do I post a topic or a question? Cause I got like 2. First, Ive found that they dont accept co-sponsors on the affisavit of support here in MNL. My question is , if the annual annum is just a bit over the proverty line guideline, would they question us? And second, on the immigrant visa application, there's a question there, what do you intend to work as? (or something like that.) Should I just write none or should I write my intended job/career when I get there in the US?

Yey! Our petition was approved already!!! No RFEs! I thought there's gonna be one since we didnt write letters of intent to marry. But still! Yay! So happy

Sometimes its frustrating to check on the timeline. Seeing someone getting their petition approved. Dont get me wrong. I'm happy for them, but there's also a part of me that;s envious.
