Fees must be submitted in the exact amount and cannot be refunded. Do not mail cash. All checks and money orders must be drawn on bank or other institution located in the United States and must be payable in U.S. currency. The check or money order must be made payable to the Department of Homeland Security.
When preparing the check or money order, spell out Department of Homeland Security. Do not use the initials “DHS” or “USDHS.”
This is straight from the USCIS website. So make check to DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY

Hi ! When we sent in our i129 CAlifornia service center was taking 3 months. So I was all excited. Well, 3 months rolled around then 4 months.... I looked for advice and got a lot of responses that eased my mind somewhat. Each service center focusing on one type of visa at a time. Example K1 will be cranked out and K3 are put on the back burner. and then they switch it up. Sure they are always processing every type of visa but some quicker than others. It all is based on coincedence from where you fall in this process. Hang in there !

Hi Everyone ! I am really really struggling with this decision. During the whole K1 process I have been planning to go to Romania to be with my man at his interview. Well 3 months ago we went on a vacation to Puerto Vallarta and am excited to say I am 3 months pregnant with Twins !! I have not been feeling the best, but my doctor says it is my choice to go or not. She said there are no major risks in traveling but I will be far away from home etc. We have lots and lots of proof of our relationship, but i still feel like I need to be there because its such big day. I am just really nervous to fly and dont want anything to happen to our babies. What would you do ?? Thanks everyone

Looking for some advice. I called Friday to NVC. They said we have a case # which she gave me.. but then said our case was in AP. IS it normal to get a case # and still be in AP ?
-
It is so frusterating to wait almost 5 months for approval by CSC. Then it gets to NVC and you expect it to go right out like everyone else. I called.. they said.. Oh your case got randomly selected for AP. We have no time frame ! I am 3 months pregnant with Twins and have been waiting so patiently for him to get here. I want to scream

Hi !! When I filed by paperwork in the beginning of June. I was so excited because it went to the Calfornia Service Center. California was processing in 3 months very consistently. NOW it seems they have been horrible with processing approvals. One approval every few days it seems. Now Vermont is cranking them out Anyone else in the same boat with California ?
