I was hoping you can help me out. I just got my EA card. What do I do next?

I tried to apply on a temp website today and they needed a SSN that I don't have. Am I supposed to apply for it? I thought the Employment Authorization card would give me a temp SSN?

Any advice that you can hand out would be great.

Sorry I don't know. Montreal's consulate seems to be in outerspace. They don't answer emails or have a number to contact.
