I visited Italy for Christmas and I only needed my EAD combo card. It took a while though, because they took me to a little crowded room and i waited there for about 45 minutes. I was already freaking out! lol

Yes I guess they send these combo cards now. I think I'm also bringing a copy of my marriage license and a copy of my NOA for the AOS...just in case!! Happy holidays to you both!

Hey! How are you doing? Any update? I got my EAD card and i'm going to use it to go visit my family in Italy for Christmas...hopefully they are going to let me back in the States!! I was very paranoid but i read that i should be fine! Anyway, i hope you guys are having a great weekend!

No we didn't call, we got that RFE at the end of September so i wasn't expecting anything so soon. So far they only sent us the notice that says that the case was transferred to California Service Center but nothing about the employment authorization and the travel authorization. It's probably just a matter of days for you guys!

So i just checked my case status and they approved my EAD and my AP! Yayyyy! Hope all is good with you guys.

It's great that Fabio can drive for a year and that the biometric appointment went smoothly! Mine was super quick too, i was expecting to spend the whole afternoon there but we were out of there in 15 minutes! Still waiting for them to review the I-864 we sent again

Thank you! I know i`m going to miss Italy soon but my parents are coming for the wedding in a couple of weeks so i should be fine for a while! Yes the guy kept all those stapled forms...don`t worry they probably have a copy or they are not so necessary. So congratulations and let`s just keep each other posted!

The officer was actually nice, he told me i was crazy to leave Sicily and marry an American and it was very informal.I asked about the white envelope and he told that was mine but then he couldn`t find something in the yellow envelope so he opened the white one and said "here it is...

Yes i'll ask about the medical envelope! I don't know if your message here was for me, anyway i didn't need my vaccination records because i have mine but there was a girl who asked the lady at the Consulate if she could have a copy and this lady just opened the white envelope, took the paper and gave it to her.

Hey just out of curiosity...what happens to the medical envelope?? The doctor told us not to open it and take it to the interview but at the Consulate they didn't even ask for it! Do they open it at the POE?
