Hubby did pick up his IR-1 visa on the 14th and the best is to follow. To all that are waiting or have an interview coming up soon, hang in there and keep the faith....peace

@ PAtracy: The more proof you show, the better it is. We sent pics from our marriage in Accra. It doesn't need to be a big, lavish wedding. the main thing is to make sure u take pics of da ceremony. We also kept good records of our communication prior to getting married. A genuine relationship was established prior to marriage.I wish u good luck.

HUBBY RETURNED THE TAX TRANSCRIPTS TO EMBASSY THIS MORNING AND HE WAS ISSUED A BLUE SHEET TO PICK UP HIS VISA ON THE 14TH....SO GLAD WE R CLOSE TO STARTING OUR LIVES TOGETHER....BLESSED LUV!

The CO told my husband that other than that our proof was actually good and the kind of info he liked to see at the interview. So, I have requested transcripts via IRS.Gov and they will be sent via mail. Hubby still has to receive one last Hepatitis B shot on the 11th, so it is what it is. We expect that things will be finalized by next month....blessed!

The interview went fairly well, but the CO still wants the tax transcripts for 09/10 even though I provided actual copies of the taxes. We were given a return date of Oct 5th to submit that info and it was on a yellow sheet (think that is good). I went to embassy to inquire about why the CO requested my tax transcript when I submitted my tax returns and of course I was given run around.

No interview date YET, but I know that it is coming soon....am keeping the faith that it happens sooner than later...am trusting in God....Blessed

The waiting game continues on for IR/CR-1 filers I see. I see some K-1 filers have made some progress, so that's good. Keep the faith b/c our turn is sooner than later....blessed!
