    I didnt go to the appointment today... so many things changed and we decided it was better.... now i have a question.... is it going to cause us trouble if he tries to get his tourism visa for having missed this appointment????????

      it will be hard for him to get a tourist visa, 1: because he already applied for a resident type visa, AND he didnt show up for the appointment. it shows them that he had intentions to STAY in the staes by applying for a k1visa and now they are going to interpret it like this: it didnt work out, now im going to apply for a tourist visa. im just breaking it down cause these people dont play. and they are quick to deny. but i guess you should also hear others opinion

      I believe you just keep calling and asking...they will tell you the dates once they receive and send.

      You will get a letter stating they have sent it to the Embassy of your fiance's city, country. They usually notify with an email as well. Good luck!
