    Have you heard anything from the embassy since the earthquake and tsunami? It seems everything is on hold based on the message posted on tokyo.usembassy.gov, but it's a bit unclear since it only mentions non-immigrant visa situations. Good luck with the rest of your process! We haven't heard anything and aren't sure how long to wait or what to do next.

    I received an email from USCIS at 1:15 EST (3/2) indicating we were approved on 3/1 and a letter was on the way. We were starting to feel a bit defeated about the process, but now things are looking up again :)
