thnx carol..btw how much it did take for questions-answers , applying for green card...etc..i have heard that many people miss their connecting flight due to shorter connecting time and coz of time takes for the process at POE.

and the form was simple for applying green card...or it was complex ?

The POE at LAX is my final destination. The form is very simple, they will asked you to sign and have index fingerprint(they have a frame that prevent you from signing it in the wrong place.That's all, they will fill the form for you. Then they call you, and give you passport with an alien number. The questions-answers are very simple. they just asked about name, birthdate....They are nice, don't be worried

Thank you everyone.

When we arrived at the LAX, the officer took our passports and sealed documents. They asked some questions and then they took our finger prints and our pictures. After that, we sign for applying green card. They stamped next to our visa the date of arrival and the alien number which is the green card number. If you get a visa they already assigned you a number called registered number on the right of a visa ( I went to the number 1 window where all immigrants go to process paperwork)

Everything is fine at POE. I got a stamp on my visa which is a temporary green card.

in your timeline i can see you had a second interview right?what did they ask you,did they required additional dok?

It's not really a second interview, but I have to submit new DS 230, and new medical document. They didn't ask for new tax return (2010 and 2011). Everyone had to swear and sign ds 230 part 2 in front of Consulate officer. Then they took our passport and told us to pay for visa delivery ( about 2 weeks )

My dad came to the consulate and they told us to submit new medical documents, and new DS 230s. They want all the applicants to be at the consulate to sign DS-230s in front of the officer. my family will come back next week when we have our documents. I hope everything will be fine this time

They only said that I have to wait for the PD gets current even though it is current. Why do they keep saying that?

I haven't received anything. When I called them, they only say that check the visa bulletin even though they knew that my PD is current.

My dad is coming to the US consulate this afternoon. I am waiting for his news.

I talked to NVC yesterday. They informed me current PD is Novmeber 1st, 2000.

I think May visa bulletin is December 1st,2000. Why did they tell you that the current PD is November 1st,2000?

My PD is current in this month, but I haven't got anything.

what is going on,why you didn't receive interview date yet,did you call the emmbasy?

I think I will get a letter notifying what documents I need to renew. I may not get interview letter because I already had interview in Jan, 2011. My friend was in the same situation, and she got letter notifying to submit medical documents on April 8,2012 ( her PD is Nov 8th, 2000) I think I have to wait until May to get the notification via mail.

I think the US consulate will not notify me anything until May because I got their reply:

"As noted in our recent response, the beneficiary's case will be reviewed once the case becomes current. In order to obtain up-to-date information on current priority dates for this visa category, please visit the State Department’s Web Site at http://travel.state.gov/visa/bulletin/bulletin_1360.html. "

Let's wait until May.
