    Finally got the AOS moving!!! Mailed it off day before yesterday... what an immense relief. I think we can actually take a little break, now. (I can't believe we've been at this just about a year now!)

      Dani got her notice of biometrics appointment today (so stupid everyone has to do this after we already did it in US consulate in Juarez). Do you think we all have an interview? I heard K-1s usually dont b/c they had one in Juarez, what are your thoughts? Hope all is well!!

    A question for friends who interviewed at the CJ consulate: What did you write for Question #11 on the I-134 ("I intend/do not intend to make specific contributions to the support of the person named in item 3")? N/A, Yes, or something else? Thanks!!

    Picked up our visa on the 7th after we had already checked there once that day and twice every day prior. It was postmarked the 5th... it had been there during five of the times we had checked but no one had found it.

      I assume you also called 703# during those days? They didnt say it was being delivered, etc? just one day they said "its ready for pick up"? Ive been calling these past days but they have no info yet, im thinking they wont give me info "its being delivered, etc", they will just let me know when its ready to be picked up w waybill # :(

    Just got off the phone with 703# and they say VISA IS READY FOR PICKUP!!!!!! We even have a tracking number!!! Oh. My. God. If I'm not back on VJ for a couple days its cuz I'm driving my Mexican across the border through TX and AZ. THIS is the scary part.

    does any one know how long it takes to get cuidad juarez appointment

      it takes a month and then they sent out a letter, which takes 2 weeks to receive, then you could schedule an appt for the next week if you want.

    The guy at DHL just now said it'll probably be 5 more days. And why don't we have a waybill number like everyone else? This is so depressing.

      They dont give waybill #s anymore, dont listen to DHL guy you should get it today. you can also call 703# and they can track it (they say after 5 days after visa approval but its worth it to call now to see if they can track)

    Here's another story that happened to someone that went with Robe to check DHL at the same time: He had been coming for days asking the same lady for his papers and she kept saying they had not arrived. Today they got in an argument and he told the lady he didn't think she was doing her job and could he please speak to someone else. Another employee checked and found that his papers had been there for three days.

      when NVC acknowledges they received it they assign case #, you should already have case #, if the person didnt give it to you try calling again and reaching someone better. It should be at NVC for a week or two and then it takes 2-3 days to send to CDJ

      P.S. I noticed on the homepage today http://mexico.usvisa-info.com/en-MX/selfservice/ss_country_welcome

      that there was a statement re: people having issues getting their docs, so you may want to follow instructions to avoid more delay..

      Hey Maria, got off phone w them, they said to allow 48hrs btw ASC & visa interview. Couldnt they put that in the letter or on website? jeezzz

    Robe arrived 7am for his interview scheduled at 8:15. They let him into the consulate area where you are not permitted to bring anything with you including food, water or phone. Then they made him wait until just before 5pm, he was the last person called, almost 10 hours later. His interview was brief and it turned out that we had everything they needed. Then they tell him his fingerprint results were not showing up on their computer and wanted to know if he had gone to an ASC appointment...

    ASC appointment went well also. Robe said they were really nice. Did not want the two passport style photos, took one with their camera. Looked at the DS-260 and 160 and said they were both fine (not sure what that means). 5 minutes later he was done!

      so I guess it didnt matter that we cant upload photo on the DS-160? Did they hand anything to him to bring to the interview to prove he did ASC? thanks in advance!

    Medical exam went well. They accepted a scanned copy of the "invitation letter" along with passport for entry. Because of his tattoos he was scrutinized more thoroughly and given a urine test...we were expecting that.

      called today & my letter was sent yesterday! of course guy contradicted what my lawyer & u say that it is DS-160, insisted it was DS-260 hahaha, I give up jajaja
