Thanks. I know them charging it is a good sign but it just seems so frustrating that we are unable to get our application number. We have rung and they say they can't do anything, we've emailed and not getting a response. We need that number to get any updates during the process so I'm really just not sure at this point what can be done to get that number.

Can I ask how long it took to hear from the lockbox? Now at 31 days and emailed the lockbox last week but no reply. Has an auto mail saying a reply can take another 30 business days, so 6 weeks.

Hi everyone, We filed our NOA1 31 days ago on Feb 10th. It took 17 days for the check to be cashed (this was done and came out of the account on Feb 27th) however we still have no text, no email, no letter, nothing after 31 days. Everyone else I see applying at the moment seems to be getting theirs fine, with a letter after 1-2 weeks and a text in a few days... They have cashed the check so they do at least have it, but getting really concerned at not having a receipt notice number. We have emailed the lockbox, no reply. We have called, and they just said to wait. Aware the wait is long (after 4 years of long distance I am well used to waiting) however I really just want to know the packet has been accepted and recieved. Is there anything else we can do, or does this seem as abnormal as I think it is?

Did you not get a text before the letter? We included form G-1145 to hear back before the letter arrives. Most get that 1-2 days after it’s received but here we are almost 4 weeks later and nothing

Hi there, i-129f was mailed on feb 10th delivered to lockbox on feb 14th no contact yet received, no text but the check was cashed on feb 27th. it seems people who mailed theirs 2-3 weeks after us already have their noa1 numbers. I’m not sure what to do… it surely shouldn’t take this long to hear something and just to know that they have our case. The text should take 1-3 weeks and it looks like they are now processing cases that were received two weeks after ours was but we still have no noa1. What can we possibly do in this situation without an noa1?

Just updating that it’s been another 2 weeks and still no NOA1. Check has been cashed but still no text or letter.

Think that was last updated in 2019 though? From what I’ve seen in fb groups for 2024 filers I haven’t seen anyone taking over 2 weeks for the text. But hoping someone else is in my situation.

Really? Everything I have seen online says 1-2 weeks. I haven’t seen anyone’s taking over 2 weeks since covid?

That seems to be the standard, which is why I’m panicking ours is well over that now.

Yes, filled out the G-1445 and attached to the front so hoped to get a text - have seen lots of people who sent theirs after us and already have a text so I’m starting to get pretty panicked.

Hi everyone, new to the process but we filed our petition 2 weeks ago and still have no text, the check has not been cashed, nothing. According to tracking it looks like it arrived 1 week ago. Have seen people who filed after us already get their texts and starting to get really concerned. Should I be worried that we’ve heard nothing?
