    It was a 221g for court document. And it's for a CR1 visa.

    I know there's no specific timelines and might not be able to compare, but wondering for anyone who had an interview in Jamaica and was put into administrative processing, how long did it take? Husband had his interview April 16 and got 221g for missing document but they kept his passport. Missing document was sent in April 19.

    I'm the petitioner. The beneficiary was the one arrested for illegal possession of a firearm but the case was dismissed due to no evidence and that is all stated in the letter they provided.     Went to the court and let them know we need court records for immigration but instead they provided a certified letter signed by the Deputy County Clerk. The letter states the court that was attended, the judge that presided over the case, the date it happened, the charges, and the final disposition. Would this possibly be enough or should we go back and push for the records...?

    Oh no, sorry to hear that. Is the administration processing related to the court records or something else? Hope it gets sorted out for you soon.

    That's what we're going to try and do, again. My husband doesn't remember what dates or year he went to court because it was so long ago. Did your husband have to provide the court with information for them to look?

    It was definitely the right court. We're going to try again. What's not helping is the police certificate shows no arrests and he doesn't recall when the arrest and court dates happened...

    Has anyone ever been in the situation where they needed to get court documents from a Jamaican court for their nvc documents? We need court docs for my husband who's been arrested and charged in the past, but not convicted. We tried once already to get docs and they say they could not locate any file. Just trying to figure out my next steps. His police certificate came back clean since he was not convicted but we already indicated on the DS-260 that he had been arrested before.

    Did you get your receipt yet? I mailed mine on May 22nd through USPS with an arrival date of May 26th. Just today, June 9th, I got the text message saying it was received and I should get the letter in about a week.
