  1. Yes our case was expedited due to my husband being in the military. The processing times can be found on the USCIS website, it depends on which Service Centre it's at and whether you're a USC or LPR.
  2. All was approved and I got my passport back 2 days later with visa, no need to submit originals
  3. I'm panicking because I was flustered and she didn't really explain anything! On the green 221g it has ticked to send original divorce certificate and then an email was sent to me with tracking information to send via DX?
  4. Hi all, I'm hoping that someone can help as I've searched all over the web to no avail! Yesterday I had my interview, all was fine except they asked to see the petitioner's (my husband) divorce decree. American divorce certificates tend to be lengthier than the UK's and somewhere I had read to just bring a copy of the front page. So I did. I handed them the copy I had printed out of the front page. They advised that this wasn't uploaded onto CEAC. (I think we may have had an issue as she also said that the W2's were cut off but thankfully I had that printed out! As once submitted it won't let you reopen the file!). She handed me the green 221g form and said to upload the divorce certificate. I asked to CEAC? she said yes. She handed me the green form and a "How to Upload to CEAC" sheet. I checked my status on CEAC and it was showing as Refused. I went home and uploaded my husbands divorce decree and this morning the status has changed to Administrative Processing. My confusion is that the green 221g says to submit the original divorce certificate of the petitioner. So have they accepted my CEAC copy or not? Do I still have to physically get an original copy from the courts in the USA, have him courier it to me and then drive an hour to the nearest DX postal service or does this mean that my upload is enough? Anyone experience this? I'm going crazy trying to figure this out!
  5. Thank you! I have now booked an interview two weeks after my medical as more dates were released, so fingers crossed everything is approved on the spot!
  6. I already have a medical exam, if you call them they have appointments in May, mine is on the 24th May. It's the interview appointments they don't seem to have ant of! They only currently have until the 19th May available for interviews and then nothing after! Also I just found out that the GP no longer covers travel boosters under the NHS so have to pay out of pocket for any missing vaccinations.
  7. I'm hoping somebody can help me. We applied for the CR1 visa and my case was expedited at USCIS and now at the NVC before me uploading my documents. I received an email to confirm that I need to book an interview and medical. I have booked my medical on the 23rd May which was the earliest appointment available. The medical centre advised allowing 10 days before booking the interview. When I logged on to book the interview the only dates available are from the 11th - 24th May, everything thereafter is greyed out. Do they only release the dates 10days at a time? Also how long after getting the visa after interview do I have to enter the USA? My husband is due to come back on leave to the UK in August and leaves September. We are having a second wedding with our family here before leaving, the plan is for him to help me pack up our house in the month that he is home and then help me fly our three dogs out. I have heard that once the visa is issued you have a month to enter the US, however, I have also heard that you have 6months, so I'm slightly confused!? This is causing so much distress as I need time to sort out my house and if I have to move within a month then I will book an interview in August. Tried to call the Embassy and of course they were of no help. Thanks!
