  1. I truly thank all of you for your assistance! This was SO helpful- I will call USCIS today!!
  2. Thank you so much for replying! It's really been very frustrating! I called USCIS at 800-375-5283 to attempt to talk to someone about a replacement I-551 stamp but the voice prompt says our case does not qualify for a new I-551 stamp (even though I answered yes to having an expired I-551 stamp and Green card never arrived) and we are unable to speak to anyone. Do I need another number?
  3. Hello! My husband had his I-130 CR1 spousal visa interview June 2021 and arrived in the US July 4, 2021. I paid the boarder fee the day before his plane arrived in Miami, FL. We received his social security card within two weeks of his arrival to the US. USCIS says his green card was mailed October 28, 2021, however it never arrived. When we looked up the tracking number it says: tracking number generated, package never received to postal facility. So I filed an I-90 for a replacement card and was awarded the free fee since they acknowledged that likely the green card was never created. We did use a lawyer to get my husband here as the embassy continued to claim it was shut down for COVID and it was in fact not. USCIS website says our case is still being reviewed by the Department of state and CEAC says awaiting interview to be scheduled by the embassy. He did receive an I-551 stamp from the embassy in his passport which has since expired. But I am thinking maybe using the lawyer made his case skip some entry tracks and perhaps we never made it to the person that clicks to print the card? We have been waiting for his I-90 case since September 2022. It has said "actively being reviewed" since October 2022. We did have an emergency embassy appointment in Miami because we needed some form of legal immigration status so my husband could get a driver's license. So they (very) reluctantly agreed to do another temporary I-551 stamp but they only gave us 6 months and it has since expired again. Does anyone have any suggestions?? We are so beyond frustrated. Obviously, he has a social security card and driver's license now but he can't use his passport to travel and we still have no word on a green card. We are starting the process of removal of conditions and I hope this isn't going to be a problem?
