My Fiancee and I fell in love back in 2002 when we were both working at a country club in North Carolina. We dated for the entire season, but when her visa expired she had to return to Russia. She was not successful in getting another visa the following year and I was also unsucessful in getting a visa to visit her in Russia, but we remained in contact through letters, emails, IMs, and phone calls for the next few years. Then time and distance started to take its toll and we lost touch and went about living our lives. Early in 2011 we re-connected and started talking via Skype and Facebook. In August 2012 we met in Portugal and had an amazing time and realized that we never stopped loving each other. This time she was successful in getting her B2 visa and she came over to the states to visit me for Christmas 2012 and on Christmas eve I proposed and she accepted. She made another trip in April/May of 2013 and we submitted our petition once she had returned to Russia. We are so ready to spend the rest of our lives together and recover all that lost time that we spent apart.
