Police certificate update - Australia

I have an interview coming up in Sydney and the embassy has asked me to provide new police check with fingerprints. The check takes 15 business days but they have asked me to provide the document within 5 days. What are my options?

OK, so no option for an expedited service (some countries do offer that).  Then all you can do is go to the interview as planned, you'll be given a 221g for the missing police cert, and then send it in after the interview. It's not a big deal, just means your visa won't be issued until they receive it.

They are not doing that anymore apparently. They want all documents to be available 20 days before the appointment or it will be cancelled and rescheduled whenever the documents become available again. The email I received is that "send it or it will be cancelled".

Right, so you need to reschedule your appointment then.
