Hi All,

We have submitted our H1 & H4 extensions with premium processing to USCIS on April 30, 2025. My husband's H1 got approved by 7th May. But for my H4 application they sent a RFE notice on 12th May. In RFE they mentioned that a Biometrics is required to be taken at the ASC and a separate letter will be sent with ASC appointment details. My RFE response last date is June 15, 2025. I am yet to receive any Biometric appointment letter from USCIS and I am very worried that my deadline to response to RFE is going to pass and no appointment would be scheduled yet. Can I go ahead and schedule the ASC appointment on my own or I must wait for USCIS to set it up? I will also be out of US in July, so I am worried that the appointment might have been set up while I am away. No help received so far by calling USCIS helpline.
