What’s taking so long Rio? Haven’t been contacted for interview from consulate

Good day all.  
 

we have applied for a K1. Fiancé is from Brazil.  
 

The NVC has sent Rio our paperwork on February 25th.  It has been 29 days and we have not been contacted by them for the interview.  It seems by everyone’s timeline that they hear from Rio within a week or less. 
 

is that typical?  
 

I sent an inquiry, they said to contact the consulate, but their info line specifically says not to call them about Visas.  
 

 

What do we do?
