The annual quota was met, so no visas could be issued until the fiscal year reset on 1st October, and interviews aren't scheduled when a visa isn't available.

So why are applicants moving forward in other embassies around the world and not London?

They weren't when there were no visas available. Nobody can get a visa by law then, it's not a discretionary thing.

I just got my Interview Letter. 
 

IL: 29th October, 2025.

Interview Date: 31st December, 2025

Still waiting on mine - not sure if they release them all at the same time/day so iv missed this months batch? Or if they could be releasing them periodically over today for example 🤔

Thanks for the heads up. Have you heard of anyone else getting their IL? I noticed the previous person was DQ'd back in 2024 so not sure if that means people DQ'd in March 2025 will actually get an IL before next month...
