Passport not yet returned after interview

Got interviewed with my father last May 04 for US tourist Visa. We both got approved

my father got his passport last may 07 while on my end, i haven’t received it yet

Ceac status shows Approved and date last updated was May 06

 

anybody had the same experience? Do i need to worry about it?

any idea how long this may take before it gets issued?

Don’t worry. I was in a similar situation with my mum. She went for her interview on the 17th of April and she got caec issued visa on the 18th of April. 
We waited for almost 30days. She finally got her passport on the 15th of May. Don’t worry. Once it says issued on caec, you’ll get it. It happens. Hang tight and don’t worry at all
