Hi all.

Well, if the USCIS processing times are right along with the VisaJourney processing times, then my fiancee should be hopefully be receiving a NOA2 without an RFE within 2 months.

My question is:

Upon her receiving the NOA2, what then happens to the petition?

Also, if I am in America whilst this is all going on, do I need to be in the United Kingdom at any point except for having to be there for the interview, getting my police record, medical exam etc?

Thanks

Also one more thing.

According to the K1 flow guide, it says that my Embassy should contact me saying when my appointment is.

Assuming that is right, what will happen if:?

1. Would it be by a phone call or by mail?

2. If its a phone call, would it be ok if a member of my family is there to take the phone call if I cant make it?

3. If its a phone call and it isn't answered, does that mean it is going to delay the process etc severely?

Thanks again

Guides are good for sure - and the K1 flowchart - I always found that helpful and especially good for visual learner types. Also, please fill out your timeline! It helps everyone here, the more data we have.

As for your questions: Yes, the embassy will let you know about your interview after the petition is approved by USCIS, forwarded to NVC, then to London, and you fill out and return the required forms and checklist.

1.) They will inform you by mail. You can, however, call the US State Department visa information line for updates and beat the mail by a few days WHEN you get to that point - 1-202-663-1225, press 1, then 0, you'll need your LND case number (which you'll get at NVC).

2.) N/A

3.) N/A
