Does Family Registration Certificate work in place of Birth Certificate?

Hi everyone.

I am from Pakistan and currently undergoing the process of applying to the UK for my student visa. I only have till 17 October to get there, so I'm trying to get things done quickly.

I have done almost everything required so far (i.e. pay the uni fees, fill the visa form, pay the IHS health surcharge, book an appointment etc.). I am due for an appointment at Gerry's Karachi tomorrow at 9:00 am, and I discovered only yesterday (as I finished my application) that among the documents required for my appointment is my birth certificate (along with a letter of parental consent, passport, and TB certificate). The certificate is required to show legal connection to my parents since they are the ones paying my university fees, however I do not have a birth certificate (we've always used the Child Registration Certificate instead, which is in Urdu), and there's not enough time left to get a new one made. Since I'm required to show connection to my parents through legal documents, I was thinking of submitting my Family Registration Certificate instead (which is like a Child Registration Certification but in English), since it is also issued by NADRA and should hold more legal importance than a birth certificate which is issued by your local union council.

I'm still a bit scared that my visa might be rejected because of this, and I have read that you can not apply for priority visa again after your visa has been rejected. Should I postpone my appointment by several days so that I can get my birth certificate made and sent to me before it? Or will the FRC be enough? Should I also take my Urdu B-Form with me?

Please let me know, thanks.
