N400 Online application and interview

Hello, do I need to submit my husband kids birth certificate with my N400 online application? They do not live with us, infact the son is not present in our lives, but his daughter comes to visit once in a while. I do not have their birth certificate , neither does my spouse. Are we required to submit their birth certificate with the application or take it with us to the interview?

Also do we need to take the original birth certificate of my US citizen spouse to the naturalization interview? Or a copy will suffice?  Thank you.

I dont think so. I applied for N400 online; though I did submit my kids birth certificate, they didn't ask for documents during the interview. I was just asked for my passports (current and old), Green card and ID proof. I was applying based on work based GC. They just asked me how many kids I have and if they are US citizens (assuming to verify the information that I added in the form)
