Hi everyone,

our I-130 (USC filed for spouse) has been sitting at Nebraska for 17 months, filed January 2019. We submitted an outside of processing time inquiry over a month ago and received an email that says to keep waiting indefinitely and that NSC process cases in order received (complete BS).

we have also contacted the ombudsman’s office, still waiting for their response. Reached out to the congressman, they received a response from USCIS that our case hasn’t even been assigned to an officer yet! Got the same information from a tier 2 officer when we called USCIS. They submitted another inquiry on our behalf.

needless to say, we have almost lost all hope. Does anyone know what else we can do to get a decision on this petition? Or at least to get the petition assigned? Would greatly appreciate any advise. Feel like we are being treated extremely unfairly and don’t understand why.
